Sultanas from Turkey

Sultana grapes of Turkish origin. Sultana variety, obtained by dehydration. It is mostly made of carbs in the form of simple sugars; they contain hardly any fats, and have a small amount of protein and some fibre. They are, however, rich in minerals including iron, potassium, sodium, calcium, and phosphorus, and vitamins, especially vitamin E, which has a strong antioxidant effect, and group B vitamins, which are essential to keep the nervous system and red blood cells functioning correctly. Sultanas are popular among athletes for its high energy content, and for helping keep bones, muscles, and the cardiovascular system healthy. The recommended quantity to be consumed daily is 30 g.
